MERRY CHRISTMAS

Our little Mayan would like to wish you all a very happy Christmas. Mayan is having a
her first real experience of the festive time being 3 1/2. She has practised her own decorations, as you can see, by putting stickers all along our corridor first. She then felt much more confident and went for the tree two days later. I only had to help her to build Jesus crib (which is never easy anyway to be frank) We wish you all the best of time, enjoy the spirit (and spirits too with moderation). Share the love with close friends and families. Merry Christmas from us and Mayan!

A panel discussion evening with Lord Baker at the Oxford & Cambridge Club. Passion, ideas and reforms about education made that evening very special and inspiring.

MAHARAJA BALL 22/11/13

I usually post only one image when it comes to parties but I am going to make an exception today as the last event at the Oxford and Cambridge was truly special. The Club's Ball happens every two years and this year's theme was India. Two drummers welcomed the crowd and everyone was taken to the Smoking Room where two peacock stilt walkers invited them to gather and chat in a fancy dress fashion. Then came a sumptuous dinner which concluded with a four Bollywood dancers routine.

Then you would gather around between the Henna studio, the Bar and the Ballroom were Bollywood dancing lessons were given to the most energised ones as others would chill with coffees and spirits. Meanwhile the Smoking Room was turned into a large Casino. Later on a DJ turned the dance floor on fire until late. By then I was gone but what a beautiful and fun evening on Pall Mall!

FOUNDATION DINNER 15/11/13

Annual event hosted by Brighton College to thank all the generous founders of the school. This year's venue is no match and took place in the imposing, decadent and fairytale like Brighton Royal Pavilion.

ANTI-GRAVITY YOGA 10/11/13

Proud to present for once but not least a picture of my wife in action. Vivianne Jonsson is one of the very few in UK to teach Anti Gravity Yoga and here are just a few poses to prove it. This discipline is just emerging over here and it has a huge potential by being very versatile, acrobatic and fun. My wife is smiling in the pictures but we all know all the effort and strength required to make it look so easy ( I am going for a run instead, but quite tempted by it I have to say)

A special drinks reception at the Oxford & Cambridge Club gathering all the members and students from MFin scheme from Cambridge. The evening was designed to thank personally a big benefactor without whom the school wouldn't be running.

A rare opportunity for me to catch up with my brother, his fiancé and daughter in their new Brittany homeland in the prettiest isolated settings. They are posing in front of their farm door in the sunset at the end of a boiling day. Young people like them tend to leave big cities to find peace and harmony far from the stress and noise. Lots of love to them and a big thank you for having us.

First funeral assignment in central London of late Raymond 'Ray' Stephen Hatt (1951-2013). The ceremony took place at Southwark Cathedral followed by cremation at Honor Oak cemetery. RIP

TWO DESIGNERS 2/7/13

A lot of fun portraying Naomi and Lucy on their new design project. Their first assignment took them to revamp a cocktail bar in Bournemouth for a 40th birthday celebration. Rock, fun and passion is definitely their motto.
