THE DORCHESTER PARTIES

Dear all, it was a real pleasure to capture last night event. This year we are tried to make the photographic assignment more relaxed in coming towards you rather than setting up a studio aside with pictures to purchase. This year you can then collect and use all your materials for free.

WHEN WILL I GET MY PICTURE ?
By the end of this week I will deliver 15 dvds which will be distributed across the departments concerned. All the materials will be available for free.

BEST WAY TO COLLECT MY PICTURE
There are many alternatives available. The sizes will be good enough to print up to an A4 size. Originals are much higher but I want to make sure you will be able to download, save or send the files on the web without having to wait for too long. If bigger sizes are needed do not hesitate to email me with the name/number of the file. All the materials will be on Jpeg format which is the most common and easy to play with.
To resume you can:
- use USB stick (not applicable yet)
- use personal hard drive (not applicable yet)
- copy onto a cd/dvd
- email yourself with the picture(s)

WHAT ABOUT A PRINT
Once all your pictures are saved you can then go to your local photo lab and use their kiosk. It is very easy, fast and cheap (usually 20/30p for a 6x4). Alternatively, you can print your picture from your own computer if you have a printer. All the materials provided are at 72dpi to facilitate emailing. The lab of your choice will correct the dpi to 300 in order to print the best quality. Alternatively you can use your own software at home.

COPYRIGHT
I wish you will be wise enough to download the materials than concern you. I guess nobody wants to know that someone else is playing with your materials.
Also 2exposures will produce a book to keep as a souvenir. If some people do not want to be included in the editing, please do let us know via the Dorchester or by contacting me directly. Communicate then the name/number of the file(s) please. I want to officially confirm that all the materials we have will remain private. We cannot be responsable for any internal misuse.

FINALLY
Do not hesitate to email david@2exposures.com if you have any further question. I wish you a lot of good fun with the pictures. davidB

MY SANTA IS FROM AUSTRALIA

From Jono's parents (wedding 5th September 2009) who made the trip from Australia.

I wanted to pass on my parents' reaction to the book you prepared for us.
"the book is just fabulous - please pass on our compliments to the photographer. They are stunning photos - he has really captured the mood of the day, not just the images."

That is the kind of comment that makes me really happy. It keeps me believing in my passion and ability to please and surprise people at the same time. That's my perfect Christmas present. Many many thanks again for those touching words.
